Hotel Assistant Manager-S
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Manage daily hotel operations to a 4-star level of service delivery
• Oversight of Housekeeping and Front Desk
• Ability to report daily ADR, room occupancy and forecasting
• Must be able to maintain and update night audit procedures as necessary for business operations
• Provide leadership, coaching, training and development of subordinates
• Manage budgets and financial plans including cost controls
• Setting and achieving sales and profit targets
• Address problems and troubleshooting
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure issues are handled in a timely manner
• Address and resolve customer service needs
• Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations
• Ensure that all shifts have accurate staffing levels and cover if necessary
• Create, modify and coach to superior guest service standards
• Handle guest issues and complaints efficiently and professional
• Coach, counsel, and manage departments efficiently
• Ensures all department policy and procedures are followed
• Learn and use all computer systems at an advanced level
• Identify system issues and work towards resolution with the appropriate departments
• Train, or directly oversee the training process, of all new team members
• Evaluate and implement refresher courses for existing team members as needed
• Address any policy violations, or issues, amongst staff on all shifts
• Assist with housekeeping as needed
