POSITION SUMMARY
The Concierge serves as a knowledgeable and welcoming resource for guests and owners, providing personalized recommendations, arranging activities, and coordinating services to enhance the overall guest experience at the Steamboat Grand. This role builds meaningful connections with guests by anticipating their needs, assisting with transportation, dining, recreation, and special requests, and serving as a trusted source of local knowledge. The Concierge partners closely with internal departments and community businesses to ensure seamless service, accurate communication, and memorable guest experiences while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is personable, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment while delivering thoughtful, solutions-focused service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Consistently present and reinforce a professional appearance and positive attitude
Maintain a strong presence in Owner’s Services & Front Desk as needed – perform the check-in and check-out process for guests as required by business volume. Monitor and review agent projects and passdowns to seek opportunities to improve the guest experience.
Confer regularly with other departments or company personnel (Reservations, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Sales, Accounting, etc.) to plan, coordinate and evaluate activities, services, events, policies, procedures, exchange information, and resolve problems. Act as an effective communicator and offer constructive feedback to other hotel departments in order to improve the quality and service of The Steamboat Grand operations
Oversee Tangerine MediaRoom & Citrus Link to personalize the guest experience via in-room IPTV systems.
Adherence to the company information policy, with strict adherence to distribution and use.
Contact with all owners to provide information, resolve problems with reservations and all facets of unit management with high level of guest service ensuring compliance with company/association policies/procedures
Must be very familiar with all condominium declarations, bylaws, rules and regulations, articles of incorporations, and protective covenants.
Distribute regular communication pieces to owners via email, mail, and internet regarding changes, updates, hotel sales blurbs, marketing ventures, etc. as well as plan and coordinate receptions
Responsible for working with the Rooms Coordinator, Front Desk, Food & Beverage, and Sales teams to coordinate VIP and guest/owner amenities
Meet with new owners and process new owner paperwork
Maintain confidential records on all owners and their unit shares
Communicate weekly with appropriate departments to ensure upkeep of units, fitness center, and pool
Review arrivals to identify opportunities for upgrades and room moves to improve Owner Revenue.
Position requires working weekends and holidays as needed
Ensure understanding and compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
Perform other duties, as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
At least 2 years’ experience in hospitality industry required
Must have at least average proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Experience with Springer Miller reservations systems helpful
Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills required
Must be able to multi-task effectively and maintain professionalism in fast paced environment
Knowledge of associations helpful
Ability to problem solve in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff, including management, subordinates and co-workers
Ability to be a consistent role model for company’s Service Excellence standards
Communicate clearly in English, both verbal / non-verbal, and written
Employment for this job is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED equivalent
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on a range of factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives.
Steamboat Resort hourly pay range: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Must be able to sit for long periods of time
Ability to operate computer keyboard
