Hotel Receptionist

About the role

At HM Hotels, a Mallorcan hotel chain with 23 establishments in Mallorca, Tenerife, Dominican Republic and Mexico, we are looking for a receptionist for our hotel HM Ayron Park 5*, located in Playa de Palma

What you'll do

• Performing check-in and check-out.
• Customer service and assistance both in person, as well as by telephone or email, and attention and follow-up of special guest requests.
• Management of reservations, modifications and cancellations.
• Follow-up and resolution of incidents.
• Management of payments, invoicing and cash closing when applicable.
• Coordination with the housekeeping, maintenance and catering departments to guarantee correct customer service.
• Updating data in the hotel management system.
• Other tasks inherent to the position.

What we're looking for

• Availability to work on weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience as a hotel receptionist or similar.
• Basic IT knowledge and handling of office tools.
• Spanish and English.
• Valid work permit.
• Customer orientation, proactivity and ability to resolve incidents.

Nice to have

We will positively value knowledge of the German language, experience in the Timón Hotels operating system, knowledge of the Playa de Palma area, good communication skills and ability to work in a team, and ability to organize and manage administrative tasks.

What you'll get

• Rotating morning and afternoon shifts, in a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
• Two rest days per week.
