Hotel Sales Manager
About the Role
Drive top-line revenue through proactive outside sales, relationship building, and strategic account management for our Holiday Inn property.
Responsibilities
• Cultivate corporate, group, SMERF, and travel-agency business via outside sales calls and networking.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize occupancy, ADR, and market share.
• Manage key accounts, negotiate contracts, and close profitable business.
• Utilize CRM for pipeline management and forecasting.
• Analyze market/competitors; identify new opportunities.
• Coordinate with operations for seamless group execution and client satisfaction.
• Meet or exceed personal and property sales goals.
• Represent the hotel at community and industry events.
• Collaborate with revenue management and GM on pricing and strategy.
Required
• Proven outside/B2B sales experience (hospitality preferred).
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
• CRM proficiency; self-motivated with results orientation.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel locally for calls.
• Flexibility for evenings/events as needed.
Preferred
• Hotel sales experience with the IHG brand; existing local market relationships.
