About the Role
Position Summary: The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for increasing the hotel's business by conducting direct sales efforts, follow-up, and proper sales administration.
Accountabilities: The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business and growing existing accounts for both the Rooms department and the Food and Beverage Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the Catering sales segment
- Proactively solicit and manage a portfolio of accounts
- Meet or exceed assigned quarterly and annual sales goals
- Meet or exceed assigned quarterly food and beverage goals
- Meet or exceed assigned quarterly solicitation goals
- Partner with the General Manager on sales and marketing strategies
- Coordinate with Convention Services and Catering on groups involving rooms and Banquet revenue
- Maintain monthly incentive compensation worksheets and lead source analysis
Education & Experience
- 2 years or more of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- College degree preferred
- Customer Service experience required, hotel experience preferred
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Experience with sales and catering systems
Salary Requirements
This position offers an annual base salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 USD, based on experience and qualifications.
