About Our Family
We're a busy, high-energy household in Los Angeles with two spirited boys who keep life exciting and full. Between school, sports games and practices, tutoring sessions, park runs, library visits, and regular Disneyland trips, our days move fast — and we love it that way. We're a family that believes in curiosity, kindness, and getting outside. Backyard basketball, roasting marshmallows, and a nightly round of Wheel of Fortune are core to our rhythm. We're also a no-screens-during-the-week household, so the evenings are intentional and present.
We run a marketing agency and Q4 is our Super Bowl. We're home a lot, but we're also in the office, juggling live events and fast-moving projects. The mental load is real, and we need someone who walks in ready to lift it. Our previous household support person was with us for five years and was truly part of the family — she set a high bar, and we're looking for someone who can meet it in their own way.
We lead with kindness, we encourage our boys to ask questions and explore the world, and we want someone in our home who feels the same way. Good vibes matter here.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
The right person for this role is warm, fun, and genuinely energized by being around kids — not just tolerating them. You get down to their level, explain things rather than shut things down, and bring a calm, steady presence that makes the whole house feel more settled. You're firm when you need to be, but always lead with kindness. You love creating fun, meaningful experiences with the boys, whether that's heading to the library, shooting hoops in the driveway, exploring something new, or simply finding ways to make everyday moments exciting. You understand the importance of building consistent routines that give the boys structure while leaving plenty of room for fun, creativity, and adventure. Flexibility isn't just a preference for you — it's how you operate. You adapt easily, thrive in a routine that shifts, and never make the family feel like their changing needs are an inconvenience.
You're the kind of person who walks in and just gets it — you see what needs to happen, make it happen, and bring great energy along the way. You genuinely love organizing, creating and maintaining systems that make everyday life run more smoothly, and preparing healthy, kid-approved meals that everyone will actually enjoy. You're reliable, punctual, and understand that showing up on time and ready to jump in is essential to keeping a busy household running smoothly. You take pride in being someone the family can consistently count on, bringing both structure and a sense of fun to each day. You understand that building trust comes before familiarity, and most importantly, you treat kids as the full human beings they are, meeting them with patience, respect, and a genuine interest in who they are.
And if you happen to love Disneyland (and actually ride the rides!) or have a soft spot for Michael Jackson, even better — because one of these boys will absolutely quiz you on it.
