Primary Duties:
- Deliver morning papers.
- Deliver and collect linen between laundry and service areas.
- Complete assigned jobs, working systematically, from the lower floors to the higher floors.
- Advise the Supervisor of store requirements for the service areas and housekeeping cage.
- Ensure the entire service is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Stack and clean service areas and room attendants trolleys, maintaining the par level of guest amenities and linen requirements for guest rooms.
- Collect rubbish and linen from hub areas, corridors and service areas.
- Move furniture and equipment when requested.
- Carry out cyclic cleaning in guest rooms when required.
- Respond immediately to requests to deliver guest requirements.
- Ensure that both housekeeping cages are kept clean and tidy, ensuring all equipment is covered eg. rollaways, cots, highchairs and prams.
- Ensure that a correct handover takes place with the following shift.
