The Role
We're looking for a commercially driven and relationship-focused Head of Sales to join our team at Soho House Amsterdam.
You'll work closely with the Groups & Events team, operational departments, and key stakeholders across the House to ensure a seamless client journey from initial enquiry through to event execution. As an ambassador for the Soho House brand, you'll proactively seek new business opportunities while nurturing long-term relationships that generate repeat business and contribute to the House's commercial success.
Main Responsibilities

Drive proactive room sales through targeted business development, local networking, account management and relationship building activities.

Maximise bedroom occupancy and room revenue by identifying new corporate partnerships, travel partners and direct booking opportunities.

Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of room business, converting enquiries into bookings and proactively seeking new revenue opportunities.

Identify and secure new business opportunities across corporate, agency, lifestyle, and hospitality sectors.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
- Conduct client meetings, site inspections, and networking activities to showcase Soho House Amsterdam

Reactivate dormant accounts and identify opportunities within previous client relationships

Proactively generate new business through outbound sales activity, networking, prospecting and relationship building.

Working closely with members of the commercial and Groups & Events team to maximise business opportunities and performance
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
- Represent Soho House at industry events, networking opportunities, and trade shows
- Maintain accurate records within CRM systems and provide regular sales performance reporting
- Support the development and execution of local sales and commercial strategies
What We're Looking For

Previous experience in Hotel Sales, Business Development, Hospitality Sales, Account Management or related commercial roles

Proven track record of generating room revenue growth and developing long-term client relationships

Demonstrated success in a senior sales, commercial or business development role

Experience in hotel sales, luxury hospitality or venue sales is essential
- Strong networking, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Commercially minded with a proactive and entrepreneurial approach
- Excellent organizational and communication skills

Proven ability to proactively source and convert new business opportunities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong advantage

Existing network within the Amsterdam and wider Dutch corporate, agency and events market is highly desirable
- Experience with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools is beneficial
