- Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's tertiary care and Level II Trauma Center, housing the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue.
Responsibilities
- The House Supervisor serves as a resource/facilitator for patient care and assumes responsibility for Patient Care Services/Nursing Administration and Directors/Managers duties on nights, weekends, holidays and weekdays when other hospital and Department Leaders ers are not available.
- This person makes rounds on the patient care units and is available as needed for issues that benefit from management help and/or interventions.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the State of Idaho
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- ACLS within 90-days of hire
- PALS within 1 year of hire
- Ability to manage Conflict Resolution
- Ability to manage Disaster Management and In-House Emergency Situations
- Faciliate needs related to Morgue/Pathology/Organ Donation
- Manage Physician Issues
- Manage Risk Management/Public Relations
- Be available for Staff Support Issues
Preferred Job Requirements:
- BSN degree
- Three years Medical/Surgical or Critical Care experience
- Three years Management/Leadership experience
