Housekeeper

General Description of Duties: Position is responsible for performing various housekeeping and administrative duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Crew Lead. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Cleans rooms and other premises of facility, by performing any combination of the following tasks; dusts and cleans blinds, furniture, and other surfaces; sorts, counts, folds, marks, and carries linens.
• Turns mattresses and makes beds; moves and arranges furniture and hangs drapes; cleans and polishes metalwork and porcelain bathroom fixtures; spot-cleans walls and windows; empties wastebaskets and removes trash; removes soiled linens for laundering; and replenishes room supplies.
• Report any needed repairs to equipment, furniture, fixtures and buildings to supervisor.
• Complies with all security procedures associated with entry to a secure facility.
• May provide direct services to adult with developmental disabilities.
