Housekeeper to support seniors living independently in their homes. This role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for older adults who may need extra help with daily household tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Light housekeeping including:
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming
- Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Laundry, folding, and changing linens
- Organizing living spaces
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming
- Assist with meal prep (simple meals) if needed
- Maintain a safe, clutter‑free environment
- Report any changes in client condition or home safety concerns
- Provide friendly companionship and conversation
- Follow all agency policies and client care plans
Requirements
- Prior housekeeping or caregiving experience preferred (not required)
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical household tasks
- Must pass background check
- Reliable transportation required
- Respectful, patient, and comfortable working with seniors
