Housekeeper
Description
Landmark Hospital of Columbia is seeking a full-time and part-time housekeeper to join our dedicated and professional team. Our housekeepers play a vital role in patient satisfaction and safety by maintaining compliance with OSHA, infection control, and adhering to safety guidelines. Our housekeepers are friendly and take pride in having a safe and clean environment.
Full-time shifts: 7 - 3 pm, 5 days a week, alternating weekends
Part-time shifts: Typically 7 -3, 2-3 days a week, or could focus on weekends only.
Key duties include:
- Cleans patients'/residents' rooms, common areas, ancillary areas, restrooms, locker rooms, halls, offices and any other areas that require attention.
- Cleans light fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows/window coverings floors and carpets.
- Cleans by dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sweeping, replenishes supplies, moves furniture, and hangs draperies.
- Outside trash pickup and leaf removal as needed.
- Strictly follows isolation, infection control, and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Hospital cleaning experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures.
- Must be a team player with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must pass background check/drug test.
