Position Overview

Arnold Grounds Apartment Management is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Nowata Gardens Apartments in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. This position plays an important role in maintaining the overall appearance of our affordable multifamily housing community.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas, hallways, stairwells, laundry rooms, community rooms, offices, and other designated areas.

• Perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.

• Clean and prepare vacant apartment units for new residents as part of the make-ready process.

• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, windows, doors, and other high-touch surfaces.

• Remove trash and debris from designated areas and properly dispose of waste.

• Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when additional materials are needed.

• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or property damage to the Community Manager.

• Follow company safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

• Assist the property management and maintenance teams with additional housekeeping duties as assigned.

• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with residents and staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or apartment cleaning experience preferred.

• Experience working in multifamily housing, senior housing, or affordable housing communities is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently.

• Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

• Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying cleaning supplies.

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward residents and coworkers.

• Must be able to successfully complete company-required pre-employment screening.
