Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday and Saturday–Sunday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Days Off: Monday and Friday
About the Role
High Point Residence Peoria is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team!
Our Housekeepers play an essential role in creating a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping others, and has a passion for serving seniors.
Working as part of our Maintenance Department, the Housekeeper will collaborate with the Maintenance Director and Executive Director to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the community.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain resident apartments, common areas, and public spaces throughout the community.
Perform routine housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and trash removal.
Ensure resident living spaces remain clean, safe, and comfortable.
Follow established cleaning procedures, infection prevention practices, and safety guidelines.
Maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment in a safe and organized manner.
Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to the appropriate team members.
Build positive, respectful relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
Support a welcoming and well-maintained community environment.
Qualifications
Previous housekeeping experience preferred; experience in senior living, assisted living, supportive living, or healthcare is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience working with seniors is strongly preferred.
Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform the physical duties of the position.
Availability to work the required schedule, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Must successfully complete required background checks, health requirements, and applicable training.
