Job Description

Our Housekeepers play an important role in creating a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. You will be responsible for maintaining resident apartments and community common areas while providing friendly, respectful service.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail, and understands the importance of treating every resident with kindness, dignity, and respect.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a properly stocked cleaning cart with all necessary supplies and equipment.
• Clean and sanitize assigned resident apartments and common areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and disinfecting.
• Maintain cleanliness standards according to established community procedures.
• Respect residents' privacy, dignity, personal belongings, and individual preferences.
• Always knock before entering a resident's apartment.
• Work respectfully around residents and accommodate reasonable preferences regarding cleaning methods and room arrangements.
• Properly dispose of trash and waste while following all required safety and infection-control procedures.
• Respond to resident requests, concerns, and questions promptly and courteously.
• Work cooperatively with other team members to maintain a clean, welcoming community.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in residential, office, hotel, or senior living environments preferred.
• Ability to follow cleaning product instructions and proper safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Friendly, positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve seniors.
• Dependable, punctual, and reliable.
• Ability to work weekends as scheduled.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or the ability to obtain one.
