Housekeeper

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Dust, sweeps, mops, scrubs, vacuums and clean assigned areas

· Empties wastebaskets and ashtrays

· Stocks and maintains housekeeping store rooms

· Transports trash and dirty linens to designated areas

· Takes care of company laundry and distribution

· Sweeps pathways, parking lots and other areas as requested

· Restocks paper supplies, chemical supplies in bottles, and maintains washroom supplies

· Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies as needed

· Assists in minor maintenance in public areas and reports problems requiring further attention to supervisors

· Routinely inspects work areas, identifying potential problems or repairs

· Assure exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Team oriented.

· Excellent guest service skills

Education and Experience:

· Must have a friendly, outgoing and congenial personality.

· Must be at least 21 years old.

· At least 4-6 months previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

· Work is normally performed in a typical casino work environment

· Noise level is moderate to high

· Moderate physical effort required

· Must be able to walk, stoop, bend, reach and stretch for extended periods of time. Ability to perform light lifting, up to 50 lbs.
