Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident apartments, common areas, bathrooms, and offices according to schedule
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces
• Empty trash receptacles and disinfect restrooms
• Wash and dry residents’ clothing per schedule
• Stock housekeeping carts and closets properly
• Follow infection control procedures and Universal Precautions
• Report maintenance issues and hazardous conditions promptly
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions in English
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred
• Ability to work under time constraints and maintain professionalism

Physical Demands

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to:
  • Light Work: 20 lbs frequently
  • Medium Work: 50 lbs occasionally
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and varying temperatures
• Ability to climb, kneel, and perform repetitive motions

Non-Physical Demands

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional and courteous demeanor with residents and staff
