We’re looking for another member to add to our Housekeeping Team! The AYCC is looking for someone who takes pride in a job well done, enjoys keeping things in tip-top shape, and doesn’t mind getting their hands a little dirty. From keeping buildings sparkling to helping prepare for special events and tackling maintenance projects, you’ll play an important role in creating a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

If you’re dependable, detail-oriented, friendly, and the kind of person who sees something that needs doing and gets it done, we’d love to have you on the team!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Maintain the cleanliness of the building, utilizing custodial tools and cleaning products, according to schedule.
• Acquire knowledge of cleaning chemicals their uses and hazards. Understand SDS.
• Understand the proper operations of auto scrubbers and other custodial tools.
• Understand building activities and Facilities support of these functions.
• Assist in preparations for special events and programs.
• Become familiar with the Alfond Youth Center’s Safety protocols to ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
• Representative of the organization both on campus and off.
• May be asked to receive deliveries.
• May be assigned to off-site properties in support of the organization’s mission.
