HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER

Health Center Inc. (also known as The New York Hotel Trades Council and Hotel Association of NYC, Inc Employee Benefit Funds) is a NYC based healthcare organization with ambulatory care facilities staffed with a wide range of health professionals to provide extensive medical and diagnostic services. We offer Primary Care, Dental, Radiological, Vision, Mental Health, and other Specialist services within our facilities at no charge to our Union members, removing the financial roadblock that many people face when trying to obtain quality medical care. We are looking for a Housekeeping Manager to lead our team of cleaners and ensure we meet a high standard of cleanliness throughout all of our Health Centers (Midtown, Brooklyn, Queens, and Harlem).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee housekeeping services staff and supervisors at all facilities.
• Assign duties, prepares staffing schedules and ensures adequate coverage across shifts.
• Provides guidance to local supervisors on departmental operations and staff issues.
• Conducts regular inspections to verify cleanliness and adherence to established protocols.
• Provides ongoing training on cleaning techniques, equipment use, safety and infection control.
• Monitors utilization of cleaning supplies, equipment and inventory needs.
• Ensures regulatory readiness and compliance with the organization's healthcare standards.
• Maintains workload standards, timekeeping accuracy and payroll related actions.
• Conducts performance reviews and correction action warnings.
• Contributes to team effort.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Performs other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 5+ years' Housekeeping management experience in a similar capacity in a multi-site healthcare setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Effective time management with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Flexible and able to "roll up sleeves" when necessary in order to get the job done.
• Must be able to speak Spanish
