Housekeeping Manager to Four Points Flex by Sheraton Vejle

Four Points Flex by Sheraton Vejle opened in November 2022 and is beautifully located by the marina, offering views of the Vejlefjord Bridge. The hotel welcomes guests from all over the world and combines modern design with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As our current Housekeeping Manager has taken on exciting new challenges within Core Hospitality, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated colleague to lead our Housekeeping team and ensure that the hotel always looks spotless, inviting, and ready to welcome our guests. We are looking for a positive person with plenty of drive, energy, and a keen eye for quality, who enjoys achieving great results together with their team.

As Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that both guest rooms and public areas consistently meet Core Hospitality’s high standards for cleanliness and presentation. You make sure our guests feel welcome while creating a motivating, appreciative and positive working environment for your team. You are engaged, independent, approachable and flexible. You have a positive attitude, are a good listener and honest in your communication, and you lead by example with a solution-oriented approach to the tasks and challenges of everyday life.

This is a full-time management position, with working hours spread across all seven days of the week. You will take an active part in the daily housekeeping operations and work closely with your team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure high service levels and continuous quality control of products
• Create and maintain proper staff scheduling
• Order cleaning supplies, linen, uniforms, etc.
• Foster a work environment that motivates employees to perform at their best
• Promote a positive and appreciative work culture, ensuring ergonomic work practices
• Lead a diverse team of skilled Housekeepers through trust and knowledge sharing
• Ensure all rooms, the breakfast area, and common spaces are clean and guest-ready
• Lead by example by participating in daily housekeeping tasks
• Participate in meetings with other Housekeeping Managers across the group

YOUR PROFILE

• Previous experience as Housekeeping Manager or Assistant Manager
• You have a good understanding of the connection between the hotel’s occupancy levels and the team’s capacity, and you are able to plan staffing effectively to ensure we have the right resources at the right time
• Friendly, approachable, and trustworthy
• Passionate about service and helping others
• Proactive and efficient with strong attention to detail
• A team player with strong organizational skills
• High energy with a fearless “do-it-yourself” attitude
• You preferably speak Danish or have a strong command of English
