Housekeeping Supervisor

Normandy Farm Hotel is seeking a qualified and motivated individual interested in contributing to an upscale hospitality environment. Applicants with prior supervisory experience in first-class or luxury hospitality settings are strongly preferred.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily housekeeping operations to ensure exceptional cleanliness, organization, and adherence to brand standards. This role is responsible for supervising staff, maintaining inventory, enforcing safety and sanitation policies, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Schedule

• Full-Time - Thursday through Sunday
• Four (4) 10-hour shifts
• Thursday through Saturday (7:00AM - 5:30PM)
• Sunday (8:00AM - 6:30PM)
  

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Train housekeepers, public area attendants, housemen, and laundry attendants on cleaning procedures and maintenance standards
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
• Supervise housekeeping staff daily
• Schedule shifts and coordinate coverage for absences
• Establish and reinforce standards for cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene
• Motivate team members and address performance concerns when necessary
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest complaints and special requests
• Monitor, maintain, and order cleaning supplies and inventory (e.g., floor cleaners, disinfectants, gloves)
• Participate in deep-cleaning and large-scale cleaning projects as required
• Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation policies
• Provide hands-on support to ensure timely completion of departmental tasks
