Position Overview: Green Lake Conference Center (GLCC) is seeking an efficient, safety-oriented Houseman\Route Team Member to oversee and coordinate housing-related services and deliveries to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of guest accommodations. This role is essential in maintaining housing inventories, coordinating the pick-up and delivery of linens and other necessary items, and working closely with Lodging & Facilities team members to meet the needs of laundry, custodial, housekeeping, and guest services. The Houseman\Route Team Member will play a vital role in maintaining an organized, welcoming environment for GLCC guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Route Coordination: Plan, schedule, and organize the delivery and collection of lodging supplies, including linens, towels, hygiene items, items for disposal, and other necessary items, to various guest accommodations.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage lodging inventory, ensuring that all supplies are stocked, organized, and replenished as needed to meet the demands of housekeeping and guest services.
  • Equipment and Supply Coordination: Ensure the proper handling, delivery, and collection of equipment and supplies used for lodging services, maintaining an organized workflow and reporting any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety procedures while handling supplies and coordinating deliveries to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and inventory status to ensure effective tracking and accountability.
  • Secondary Duties: Assist in other Lodging & Facilities Services tasks as necessary, including backup support for laundry, custodial, and housekeeping functions when needed.
  • Work Area Organization: Maintain clean, orderly, and well-organized work areas to enhance workflow efficiency and ensure easy access to supplies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to complete tasks efficiently and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the overall operations of the Lodging & Facilities Services department and\or other duties as assigned.

Compensation: Starting at $15.00 per hour, with opportunities for increased compensation based on relevant skills, experience, and demonstrated abilities.
