HOUSING MANAGER
About the Position: Serves as Housing Manager, Housing Services Branch, DPW, USAG Yongsan-Camp Casey. Responsible for managing all branch activities and providing expertise in the administration and oversight of all assigned dwelling units for U.S. forces and authorized personnel. Plans, organizes, schedules, and executes centralized housing management operations.
Develops current and long-range programs for construction, utilization, operation, and maintenance of housing assets.
Formulates and coordinates budget guidance and policy for housing activities.
Directs operations of a centralized furnishings branch with overall responsibility for requisitioning, acquisition, distribution, maintenance, repair, and disposal of furniture, furnishings, and equipment.
Maintains contact with higher headquarters and liaison with federal, state, county, and municipal authorities.
Represents the Commander on all housing planning or policy matters with higher or lateral US military headquarters.
Coordinates personnel management program efforts and manpower resources with other internal DPW activities and with community staff elements.
Reviews family housing and operations and maintenance fund projects for accuracy, conformance with criteria, and sufficient justification.
Develops studies and analyses in all areas of responsibilities to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of current projects and programs.
