Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities will vary based on service area. A list of general responsibilities is provided below.
- Diagnose a diverse range of technical malfunctions, including emergencies, efficiently and accurately and perform required technical services
- Install, repair and replace residential fixtures, systems, and heavy equipment
- Inspect residential systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local building codes
- Provide excellent customer service and communication
- Provide accurate estimates and invoices for repairs and projects
- Competent use of modern industry-standard machinery and equipment
- Meet weekly with Service Manager to discuss work orders, parts, concerns and goals
- Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks such as digging trenches, lifting heavy objects, crawling through small spaces, and be able to work in the cold and heat
- Other duties and responsibilities at manager's discretion
