Job Purpose
Ensure the reliable, secure, and timely operation of HR systems, payroll processes, interfaces, and automated workflows. Support the delivery of high-quality HR services through proactive system monitoring, issue resolution, payroll process control, secure data exchange, and effective coordination between HR, Payroll, IT, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor HR systems, SAP batch jobs, interfaces, and automated workflows to ensure successful processing and service continuity.
- Perform operational checks using SAP transactions and analyze logs, job results, and interface status.
- Detect, investigate, and resolve job failures, interface errors, processing delays, and data inconsistencies.
- Coordinate and monitor payroll-related processing cycles to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Manage and oversee file transfers between internal and external systems, ensuring successful and secure data exchange.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection requirements in all data transfer and processing activities.
- Document, track, and follow up operational incidents and service requests in ServiceNow.
- Serve as the operational interface between business teams, Payroll, IT, and external vendors to support issue resolution and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant HR certification preferred.
- Excellent English communication skills; German knowledge is nice to have.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in HR Operations, Payroll Administration, Shared Services, Application Support, or IT Operations.
- Experience working with SAP HR/HCM environments and operational support processes.
- Knowledge of batch processing, job scheduling, and interface monitoring.
- Experience with incident management and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Understanding of data protection and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with HR, Payroll, IT, and external stakeholders.
- Experience monitoring business-critical processes and resolving operational incidents.
