HR Analyst - Talent Acquisition

SUMMARY

The HR Analyst is responsible for performing a wide range of tasks that support the HR organization in general and the Talent Management group in particular. This position requires excellent customer service skills with a desire to interact with employees daily. The ideal candidate will enjoy working closely with their teammates with the desire to provide the best service possible to the STP team.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree in business, human resources, or related field of study (Required)

EXPERIENCE

3 Years’ experience in HR (required)

Demonstrated experience with MS Office products (required)

ROLE SPECIFIC

Social media candidate sourcing (preferred)

2 years Talent Acquisition/recruiting experience (preferred)

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS

PHR/SPHR (preferred)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Executes employment/recruiting activities including the following: identification, screening, evaluation, testing, referral, scheduling, interviewing, and selection of candidates for approved open positions with STP Nuclear Operating Company (STPNOC).

Coordinates the STP's college relations activities including ongoing communications, college recruiting, career fairs, workshops, internships and cooperation education programs.

Provide generalist support to the HR organization.

Promote positive customer service through prompt, accurate and courteous responses to customer needs both in person and by telephone.

Handle billing, funding and requisitions for areas.

Maintain detailed employee records, their salaries, performance, leave, etc.

Provide support for internal/external audits.

Maintain documents of work processes.

Perform other related duties as required.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Accept ERO position as needed.

Accept outage position as needed

SPECIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to maintain unescorted access to the South Texas Project Nuclear Operating Company. Ability to learn to design, develop, implement and administer compensation programs and policies. Ability to learn to create proposals, job descriptions and written documentation in a clear and concise manner. Ability to provide advisory assistance to management, supervision and employees. Ability to comprehend Company goals and objectives, organizational structure, policies, procedures and practices. Ability to analyze problems and offer alternative solutions. Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. Ability to use a personal computer and current station software packages. Ability to perform statistical computations. Ability to learn current compensation trends and practices. Ability to analyze difficult problems, present effective solutions and anticipate future consequences. Ability to respond to and maintain an effective relationship with station departments. Ability to communicate clearly and adapt messages to target audience
