Role: Works across all levels and departments within the organization to promote a positive and productive workplace through the coaching and development of both management and employees in areas such as benefits, policies, procedures, HRIS reporting, and DEI.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides advice and counsel to managers on employment relation matters
- Oversees the performance management process to ensure employees are receiving effective coaching and feedback from their supervisors.
- Works with managers to take disciplinary action, including verbal/written notices and terminations.
- Administers the performance management system.
- Investigates employee complaints, provides recommendations and ensures agreed upon actions are implemented to resolve the complaint.
- Assists in creation and updating of job descriptions
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
- Lead the talent acquisition process including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants.
- Ensure legal compliance with applicable HR-related laws and regulations such as, but not limited to FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, EEOC, FMLA, FLSA and other federal, state and local laws.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Understand and interpret various employment laws such as, but not limited to FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, EEOC, FMLA, FLSA and other federal, state and local laws.
- Provide regular HR reporting.
- Benefit administration support
- New hire orientation

- Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control
