About The Role:
The HR Business Partner will report to the HR Head, ESA and work closely with business managers and teams across Ethiopia. The role will provide practical HR expertise across the employee lifecycle, help translate business priorities into effective people initiatives, and promote consistent application of HR policies and employment practices.

- Partner with business functions to ensure HR initiatives are integrated with business priorities and operational plans.
- Provide HR guidance to managers and employees on employee relations, policy interpretation, performance matters, and other complex people-related situations.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, helping the organization attract and select high-quality talent in the market.
- Manage employee relations cases, promoting fair and consistent outcomes in line with company policies and employment laws.
- Maintain accurate and secure employee records, ensuring HR information is current, properly managed, and accessible only to authorised users.
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives that create opportunities for employees to build relevant skills and capabilities.
- Promote an employee experience where feedback is encouraged, concerns are addressed promptly, and workplace matters are handled fairly.
- Manage the end-to-end performance management cycle, including performance improvement plans, disciplinary meetings, annual reviews, and related processes.
- Monitor compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations and identify actions to reduce employment-related legal risks.
- Work with managers to identify workforce priorities, improve people processes, and strengthen employee engagement and performance.
- 4+ years of experience in Human Resources management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in warehousing management and distribution.
- Proven experience in a strategic HR role, preferably as an HR Business Partner or in a similar capacity.
- Strong judgement when handling employee information and workplace matters.
- High integrity and strong ethical standards when managing HR processes and employee information.
- Strong communication and Stakeholder engagement skills, with clear thinking, problem-solving, and issue-resolution capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of Human Resources practices, labour laws, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
- Ability to communicate fluently in both written and spoken English.
- Ability to work effectively with managers and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
