About the Role
A manufacturing and FMCG subsidiary of the Omni Group is seeking an experienced and commercially driven HR Business Partner to support the business in achieving its strategic objectives through effective people management.
The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders to drive HR strategy, employee engagement, performance, talent development, workforce effectiveness and a strong people culture within the organisation.
Reporting Line: Cluster HR & Admin. Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Entity’s leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives.
- Drive talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning for the entity.
- Lead employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes in line with Group policy and the Labour Act.
- Support compensation, benefits administration, and payroll accuracy in coordination with the relevant HR Head.
- Lead HR reporting and analytics for the entity, producing accurate, timely HR metrics (headcount, attrition, absenteeism, recruitment turnaround, etc.) for entity and reporting to leadership.
- Drive learning and development initiatives, identifying training needs and coordinating capability-building programs for staff
- Champion employee engagement, designing and driving initiatives that improve morale, motivation, and retention
- Serve as culture custodian for the entity, embedding and safeguarding organizational values and Group culture in day-to-day practice
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal HR standards.
- Provide coaching and HR guidance to line managers and supervisors
- Contribute to wider HR initiatives, projects, and reporting as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years’ relevant HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior HR role.
- Proven experience in HR Business Partnering or senior HR generalist roles.
- Experience in a manufacturing, FMCG or similarly operational environment will be highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, talent management and HR operations.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to partner effectively with business leaders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Professional HR certification will be an added advantage.
