About the Role
An energy-sector subsidiary of the Omni Group is seeking an experienced and commercially minded HR Business Partner to provide strategic and operational HR support to the business.
The successful candidate will partner with management and employees to drive effective people strategies, organisational effectiveness, employee engagement, performance management, talent development and overall HR excellence.
Reporting Line: Cluster HR & Admin. Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Entity’s leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives.
- Drive talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning for the entity.
- Lead employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes in line with Group policy and the Labour Act.
- Support compensation, benefits administration, and payroll accuracy in coordination with the relevant HR Head.
- Lead HR reporting and analytics for the entity, producing accurate, timely HR metrics (headcount, attrition, absenteeism, recruitment turnaround, etc.) for entity and reporting to leadership.
- Drive learning and development initiatives, identifying training needs and coordinating capability-building programs for staff
- Champion employee engagement, designing and driving initiatives that improve morale, motivation, and retention.
- Serve as culture custodian for the entity, embedding and safeguarding organizational values and Group culture in day-to-day practice
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal HR standards.
- Provide coaching and HR guidance to line managers and supervisors
- Contribute to wider HR initiatives, projects, and reporting as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years’ relevant HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior HR role.
- Strong experience as an HR Business Partner or in a senior generalist HR capacity.
- Solid knowledge of employment practices, employee relations, performance management and talent management.
- Strong business acumen and ability to work effectively with senior management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Professional HR certification will be an added advantage.
