Key Responsibilities
Human Resources & Onboarding
- Coordinate the new hire onboarding process from offer acceptance through the employee's first day.
- Prepare and maintain new hire paperwork, employee records, and personnel files.
- Coordinate background checks, I-9 documentation, required forms, and other pre-employment requirements.
- Serve as a backup support to our payroll, tips and PTO functions for our clients.
- Partner with Payroll, IT, Recruiting, and hiring managers to ensure employees are fully prepared for their start date.
- Assist employees with general HR, benefits, PTO, policy, and onboarding questions, escalating matters when appropriate.
- Support benefits enrollment and employee status changes.
- Prepare standard HR documents, correspondence, employment verifications, and employee communications.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee information and documentation.
- Assist with employee offboarding and related documentation.
- Support HR compliance initiatives, audits, required trainings, and policy acknowledgments.
- Provide administrative support to the HR Director and HR Manager as needed.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, company events, and other HR projects.
- Serve as a welcoming point of contact for employees, candidates, visitors, and vendors.
- Assist with incoming calls, mail, packages, and general office correspondence.
- Maintain office supplies and coordinate orders as needed.
- Help coordinate meetings, conference rooms, lunches, and internal events.
- Provide general administrative support to leadership as needed.
- Help maintain an organized, professional, and efficient office environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.
- 0–4 years of HR, administrative, office coordination, or related experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Experience with HRIS, payroll, benefits, or applicant tracking systems is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary: $60,000–$68,000, depending on experience.
