Data Analyst (HR Data Analytics)

Domain: People Analytics

Role Scope: Employment Data Platform Build, HR & Compensation Data, Offline Data Integration

Role Overview

Seeking an exceptionally independent, autonomous Data Analyst to spearhead the creation of an enterprise-level employment data platform.

At this pivotal early stage, you will own the entire lifecycle from stakeholder requirement gathering and data source onboarding to pipeline construction. Operating with high autonomy, you will handle complex, disparate datasets-including retail boutique metrics, compensation records, and offline operational data-to transform raw HR inputs into actionable business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering & Discovery: Work directly with business and HR stakeholders to gather requirements, map out analytical needs, and define data structures.
  • Data Ingestion & Integration: Bring in and onboard diverse data sources, seamlessly integrating structured, unstructured, and offline data streams.
  • HR & Compensation Analytics: Manage, clean, and model sensitive HR information, workforce metrics, retail boutique performance data, and compensation structures.
  • Autonomous Execution: Drive projects end-to-end with high independence and minimal supervision, taking full ownership of deliverables in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of data analysis experience within corporate, retail, or enterprise environments.
  • Extreme Independence & Autonomy: A self-starter who can "handle themselves," requiring minimal guidance to navigate stakeholder discussions, scope requirements, and solve complex data bottlenecks.
  • Data Sourcing & Engineering: Proven track record of bringing in disparate data sources, connecting offline datasets, and structuring raw inputs into clean, usable formats.
  • Domain Exposure: Experience working with HR data, compensation frameworks, or retail boutique operational data is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for building analytical models and dashboards.
