HR Executive
Job Summary
The HR Executive is responsible for end-to-end recruitment, employee onboarding and offboarding, and supporting employee relations in a high-volume manpower environment. The role serves as a key HR contact for employees, ensuring a positive employee experience while supporting HR operations and maintaining compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1) Recruitment, Onboarding & Offboarding
- Manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, and onboarding.
- Source candidates through social medias, job portals, referrals, recruitment events & career fairs, and other recruitment channels.
- Coordinate pre-employment checks, employee screening, and onboarding documentation.
- Conduct new employee orientation and ensure completion of onboarding requirements.
- Manage employee offboarding processes, including exit documentation, clearance, and exit interviews.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline to support operational manpower needs.
2) Employee Relations
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee enquiries and HR-related matters.
- Conduct HR clinics and employee engagement sessions to understand employee concerns.
- Handle and resolve day-to-day employee grievances and workplace disputes, escalating complex cases where necessary.
- Support conflict resolution and promote positive employee relations.
- Assist in disciplinary matters and investigations by preparing documentation and coordinating meetings.
3) HR Operations & Compliance
- Monitor employee screening, re-screening, licences, certifications, and ensure timely renewals.
- Assist with work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations.
- Support leave administration and employee lifecycle transactions.
- Maintain accurate personnel files, HR databases, and employee records.
- Perform HR data entry and prepare HR reports.
- Assist with internal and external audits and ensure proper documentation.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably in recruitment and HR operations.
- Experience in end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Experience handling employee enquiries, grievances, or workplace dispute resolution will be an advantage.
- Experience in a blue-collar or high-volume manpower environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of the Employment Act and Singapore employment practices.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
