HR Executive
About HCG
The Hey Co Group is a Singapore-born F&B group founded in 2016, currently operating 8 brands across Quick Service Restaurant, Casual Dining, Cafe, Restaurant, and Bar formats. We build concepts designed for timelessness, quality, and consistency. We move fast, we're hands-on, and we care about getting our people, product, and profitability right.
Role Summary
We're hiring a hands-on HR Executive to run day-to-day people operations across all HCG brands. This is an execution-focused generalist role: you'll own recruitment, onboarding, payroll, work pass administration, and HR compliance for a shift-based F&B workforce, working closely with outlet managers and reporting to the founder. You'll have direct support and guidance from management on the more complex people matters (employee relations, policy, training strategy) — so it's a strong fit for someone with 2–4 years of HR experience who wants ownership, exposure, and room to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage day-to-day hiring across brands: service crew, kitchen, and outlet roles.
- Post listings, screen candidates, coordinate interviews with outlet/ops leads, and prepare offers.
- Run smooth onboarding: contracts, documentation, orientation, and first-week setup.
- Handle offboarding paperwork and exit interviews.
Payroll & HR Administration
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including part-time/hourly and shift-based staff.
- Administer CPF, leave, claims, and benefits; keep employee records and HRIS data accurate and up to date.
- Manage work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations (Work Permit, S Pass, EP) with MOM.
Compliance
- Ensure adherence to the Employment Act, MOM regulations, CPF, and foreign-worker quota/levy requirements.
- Keep HR records organised and audit-ready; escalate risks early.
- Help maintain and update the employee handbook and HR SOPs (with management guidance).
Employee Support
- Act as the first point of contact for staff queries on payroll, leave, and benefits across outlets.
- Support outlet managers with basic employee matters and coordinate with management on escalations.
Training Coordination
- Coordinate scheduling and records for training (service standards, food safety/hygiene, onboarding).
People Reporting
- Track and report headcount, turnover, and labour data to support outlet performance targets.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of HR experience, ideally in F&B, retail, hospitality, or another shift-based, multi-outlet industry.
- Practical knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act, MOM work pass framework, and CPF.
- Hands-on payroll processing experience; comfortable with HRIS/payroll software and Excel.
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple outlets and priorities.
- Good interpersonal skills — approachable with frontline staff and clear with management.
- Self-driven and comfortable in a fast-paced, growing environment.
- Willing to travel between outlets across Singapore.
- Diploma in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
