HR Executive/Junior HRBP

About the Role

An established organisation is looking for a HR Executive to support the full spectrum of HR operations while partnering closely with the HR Business Partner on key people initiatives and projects. This role offers excellent exposure for HR professionals who are keen to strengthen their foundation in HR operations while developing their capabilities in HR projects, talent development, and business partnering.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, including employee documentation, systems access, and new hire orientation arrangements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, organisational charts, and statutory submissions.
  • Prepare HR documentation, including employment contracts, confirmation letters, and other employee-related correspondence.
  • Monitor employee lifecycle milestones such as work pass renewals, probation reviews, and contract administration.
  • Manage employee offboarding processes, including benefits cessation, payroll coordination, and record updates.
  • Support annual performance review and promotion exercises.

Payroll & HR Administration

  • Process monthly payroll and benefits administration in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Support statutory submissions, including CPF contributions, government claims, tax reporting, and other compliance-related activities.
  • Assist with manpower and labour market surveys, as well as other HR regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and HR policies.

Talent Development & HR Projects

  • Partner closely with the HR Business Partner to support talent development and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate learning and development programmes across the organisation.
  • Administer training registrations, grant applications, attendance tracking, and related funding requirements.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives in areas such as employee development, organisational effectiveness, and workforce planning.
  • Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of HR processes and programmes.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of HR experience, preferably with exposure to HR operations and payroll administration.
  • Strong attention to detail with good organisational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable handling confidential information with a high level of professionalism.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different levels.
  • A proactive team player who is keen to broaden their exposure to HR projects and business partnering.
