HR Executive (Payroll)
Job Purpose:
Responsible for day to day running of the HR functions. Maintain confidentiality of all staff information. Ensure all confidential documents are kept in locked drawers.
Job Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration
1. Process monthly payroll accurately and on time in collaboration with the payroll vendor.
2. Prepare payroll reports, salary payments, CPF contributions, Foreign Worker Levy submissions, and annual tax filings (IR8A/IR21 where applicable).
3. Administer payroll matters including new hires, resignations, salary adjustments, bonuses, AWS, and final salary payments.
4. Ensure payroll records and supporting documents are accurate, complete, and kept confidential.
HR Administration
5. Maintain and update employee records, HRIS, and personnel files.
6. Manage employee leave administration, including annual, medical, maternity, and other statutory leave.
7. Prepare HR reports such as headcount, staff turnover, and payroll summaries.
8. Support annual salary reviews, increment, promotion, and compensation & benefits activities.
Employee Benefits & Engagement
9. Administer employee benefits, including dental claims, long service awards, and staff recognition programmes.
10. Coordinate employee engagement activities, staff events, and welfare initiatives.
11. Support staff communications and other HR administrative activities as required.
Compliance & Process Improvement
12. Ensure compliance with Singapore employment legislation, payroll regulations, and company policies.
13. Recommend and implement improvements to payroll and HR administrative processes.
Others
14. Assist in Club’s projects and functions
15. Assist in the development / implementation of HR Procedures and/or Policies
16. Any other duties/projects as assigned by Supervisor and/or Management.
17. Follow the workplace safety and health system, safe work procedures or safety rules implemented at the workplace
18. Not engage in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger yourself or others working around you
19. Use personal protective equipment provided to you to ensure your safety while working. You must not tamper with or misuse the equipment.
Requirements: -
Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline with at least 1 - 3 years of relevant HR and payroll experience.
Good knowledge of Singapore Employment Act, CPF, payroll, and statutory requirements.
