Hr Executive - Talent Acquisition
Role Summary
The HR Executive - Talent Acquisition will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment across all levels within the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) & Water Infrastructure divisions. This role requires a specialist who can navigate the unique challenges of white-collar and senior level hiring within the construction and engineering sectors, ensuring the business attracts and secures high-calibre talent efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies tailored for the MEP, Infrastructure, and Civil Contracting segments.
- Sourcing and Screening: Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, candidate sourcing (e.g., job portals, social media, specialized recruitment events), candidate screening, and shortlisting.
- Technical Hiring Focus: Specifically focus on recruiting highly skilled technical roles such as Project Managers, Site Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), MEP Coordinators, Quantity Surveyors, HSE professionals
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with departmental heads and hiring managers across the construction divisions to understand their talent needs, define job requirements, and ensure a smooth recruitment process.
- Offer Management & Onboarding: Manage the offer negotiation process, prepare offer letters, and ensure a seamless handover to the HR operations team for successful onboarding.
- Database Management: Maintain and update the internal candidate database (ATS) to ensure accurate and timely reporting on recruitment metrics, including time-to-hire and cost-per-hire.
- Compliance: Ensure all hiring practices comply with local labor laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in Talent Acquisition, with proven success managing high-volume and specialized hiring for MEP, Water Infrastructure, and Civil Contracting companies.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the organizational structure, roles, and technical terminologies within the construction and engineering industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using ATS softwares (preferably Oracle) and various sourcing platforms.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple recruitment assignments simultaneously.
- Responsible for all HR administrative tasks
- Responsible for ensuring tracking of expiry dates of various documents
- Responsible for ensuring appraisals are done on time
- Responsible for documenting records
- Responsible for assisting in the development of KPI’s, and KRA’s
- Assist in the areas of recruitment, performance management, training, employee welfare and maintenance of HR database
- Track and action visa, labour card and passport renewals
- Track and generate appraisal forms to department heads.
- Drafting of letters
- Updation of increments and promotions in HRIS.
- Proper documentation of records
- Assess and report on KPI’s and KRA’s
