BVCAP Head Start/Early Head Start is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and technology-proficient Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Bryan, Texas.

We are looking for an HR professional who enjoys working with people, embraces technology, and can support a wide range of human resources functions while contributing to our mission of serving children, families, and communities.

Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist provides administrative and professional HR support for approximately 100 employees across multiple program locations.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in general human resources practices, demonstrated strength in at least one specialized HR area, and the technical skills necessary to manage employee information, maintain accurate records, and support efficient HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities, job postings, applicant screening, and hiring processes.
• Facilitate employee onboarding, orientation, and personnel documentation.
• Assist with employee benefits administration, enrollment, and employee inquiries.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within Paylocity and other HR systems.
• Support employee relations, leave administration, and compliance with employment regulations.
• Assist with payroll-related data verification and employee information updates.
• Track employee training, certifications, evaluations, and compliance requirements.
• Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, and workforce data for management.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through technology and automation.
• Provide responsive and professional HR support to employees and supervisors across multiple locations.
