HR Generalist
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and extending offers.
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and required training.
- Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HR records in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Administer employee benefits, leave requests, and workers' compensation claims.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, healthcare regulations, and company policies.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.
- Assist managers with employee performance management, coaching, disciplinary actions, and documentation.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and retention efforts.
- Coordinate annual performance reviews and employee evaluations.
- Monitor and maintain required caregiver credentials, certifications, and background checks.
- Assist with payroll preparation by verifying employee information, timekeeping, and status changes.
- Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook materials.
- Generate HR reports and maintain confidential employment data.
- Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
