HR Generalist (Construction / Manufacturing)

Handles full-cycle HR operations for a construction/manufacturing firm in Singapore, including payroll, MOM compliance, onboarding/offboarding, and employee relations.
We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on HR Generalist with a strongbackground in the construction or manufacturing sector. In this role,you will be the backbone of our daily HR operations. The ideal candidatethrives in a fast-paced, frontline environment and understands the uniqueworkforce challenges of the industrial/built environment sectors.
Key Responsibilities
· Payroll & Statutory Administration:Execute end-to-end monthly payroll processing. Manage timely CPF contributions andensure accurate annual IRAS tax reporting (IR8A/IR21).
· Regulatory Compliance & MOMProcessing: Serve as the main liaison for the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).Handle work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations (Work Permits, SPasses, EPs) and ensure compliance with the Employment Act.
· Employee Lifecycle Management: Leadthe full onboarding and offboarding processes, including conductingorientations, preparing employment contracts, managing resignation workflows,and conducting exit interviews.
· Documentation & Filing Management:Establish and maintain an organized, secure, and compliant physical and digitalfiling system for all employee records, medical certificates, and companypolicies.
· Employee Relations & Support: Actas the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries from both office staffand field/factory workers, fostering a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years directly within the construction, manufacturing, or heavy industrial industries.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
