HR Generalist

What you will do in this role
The HR Specialist primary role will be to support several HR functions including recruitment, performance management, training & development, employee engagement and compliance.

• Participate in the recruitment process by preparing and publishing job posts, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, maintaining hiring documentation and assisting with employee onboarding/offboarding.
• Ensure accuracy and timely processing of HR administration (compensation and role changes).
• Organize and maintain employee data and documentation across the entire employee lifecycle.
• Respond to employee concerns and requests, ensuring appropriate follow-up and responsiveness.
• Assist in organizing employee training and development initiatives.
• Promote HR programs and assist in developing HR policies while complying with local labor standards.
• Undertake performance management tasks and maintain employee documentation.
• Gather and analyze HR metrics such as time-to-hire and employee turnover rates.
• Monitor market trends related to compensation and total rewards.
• Help organize team-building activities and promote a positive company culture.
• Contribute to additional company initiatives and projects as needed.

What you will bring to this role

• Degree in Human Resource Management or a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources.
• Fluent English language skills.
• People-centric mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of the Croatian Labour Act and employment legislation.
• Experience recruiting within the IT industry.
• Strong organizational abilities, responsibility and self-motivation.
• Attention to detail and deadlines with the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage confidential tasks.

Bonus Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Engineering or SaaS-based company is considered an advantage.

The Position
This is a full-time position intended for candidates located in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
