HR Generalist (f/m/d)

Greenvest is the company behind the sports betting brand NEO.bet. With a team of around 30 people based in Malta, we’re looking for an HR Generalist who enjoys supporting people, keeping HR operations running smoothly and turning ideas into practical improvements.

As our dedicated HR colleague, you’ll be the local point of contact for employees and managers and work closely with our Director. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day HR activities and have room to shape processes and lead your own projects.

Your Tasks

HR Administration & People Operations

Keep our day-to-day HR running smoothly: prepare contracts, maintain employee records and absences in Talexio, and coordinate onboarding and offboarding. You’ll also prepare payroll data for our Finance team.

Recruitment

Own the recruitment process from hiring needs to offers, including job ads, application screening and interviews. We typically have one or two open roles at a time. Work closely with team leaders and our Director on candidate selection and hiring decisions.

Employee & Manager Support

Be the central HR contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on everyday HR questions, difficult situations and employment matters, with specialist support where needed.

HR Compliance & Local Policies

Ensure compliance with HR-related requirements in Malta, including employment law, data protection, health and safety, and local HR policies.

Employee Development

Coordinate mandatory training, track participation and gather feedback. Organise targeted learning opportunities e.g. leadership development.

Office Management & Events

Organise weekly office orders and bring colleagues together through team events, including our Christmas party.

Cross-location People Experience

Work with the HR Manager at our sister company in Germany, to exchange ideas, work on shared HR topics and develop similar approaches where they make sense, while taking each company’s needs into account.

Your First Project

Make Talexio work better for our team.

You’ll take the lead in completing our setup and bringing relevant features into everyday use. This includes using Talexio’s Job Evaluation feature to help meet legal requirements for pay transparency.

Requirements

• Practical experience in HR operations and recruitment, ideally gained over 2–4 years, including independently delivering projects or process improvements. As our dedicated HR person in Malta, you’ll need the confidence to take ownership and move things forward.
• Working knowledge of Maltese employment law.
• Experience with Talexio or a comparable HR system, and an interest in using technology to make everyday HR processes simpler and more effective.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English, our shared language in an international team. German is a plus.
• Strong organisational skills to keep daily tasks and ongoing projects on track, paired with an approachable communication style that helps colleagues feel comfortable coming to you.
