Summary:

The HR Generalist will play a critical role in shaping GreenLiving’s people strategy and operational excellence. This role requires a versatile and proactive individual to oversee the full spectrum of HR functions—from talent acquisition and onboarding to performance management, employee engagement, compliance, and training. You will partner with our leadership team to develop processes and initiatives that support our mission, ensuring a dynamic, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.

Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Hiring

· Develop & Execute Recruitment Strategies: Collaborate with leadership to define hiring needs and craft compelling job descriptions.

· Candidate Sourcing: Utilize multiple channels (job boards, social media, networking) to attract top talent.

· Streamlined Hiring Process: Oversee candidate screening, interview coordination, and selection processes to ensure a smooth, positive experience.

· Employer Branding: Enhance our employer brand through creative recruitment marketing and a strong online presence.

Employee Onboarding & Culture Building

· Engaging Onboarding: Design and implement an effective onboarding program that helps new hires integrate quickly and confidently.

· Culture Champion: Embed GreenLiving's values and mission into everyday practices, ensuring a cohesive and vibrant workplace culture.

· Team Integration: Organize orientation sessions, team-building activities, and cultural initiatives that foster connection and collaboration.


Performance Management

· Goal Setting & Feedback: Develop and implement performance management systems (e.g., OKRs, KPIs) to align individual objectives with business goals.

· Regular Reviews: Coordinate performance appraisals, provide coaching, and facilitate ongoing feedback to encourage professional growth.

· High-Performance Culture: Recognize and reward excellence while identifying areas for development and improvement.

Compensation & Benefits

· Conflict Resolution: Manage employee grievances and mediate conflicts in a fair and timely manner.

Training & Development

· Skills Gap Analysis: Identify organizational training needs and coordinate relevant learning opportunities.

HR Tech & Process Automation

· System Implementation: Evaluate, select, and implement HRIS and other digital tools to streamline HR processes.

· Process Optimization: Continuously review and refine HR processes to enhance efficiency and reduce administrative overhead.



Requirements

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).

Experience:

· 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.

· Experience within manufacturing or related industries is an asset.

Skills & Competencies:

· Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory requirements.

· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

· Proficient in HR software and comfortable with technology-driven HR processes.

· Ability to work autonomously and adapt quickly in a rapidly evolving environment.
