About the Role
The HR Generalist supports a broad range of Human Resources functions and serves as a key partner to employees, leaders, and members of the HR team. This position helps drive recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, leave administration, compliance, training, HR systems management, and employee engagement efforts while promoting a positive workplace culture and ensuring adherence to employment laws, regulations, and best practices.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Supporting recruitment, candidate screening, onboarding, promotions, transfers, and offboarding processes
- Assisting employees and leaders with HR policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace questions
- Supporting employee relations activities, investigations, corrective actions, and workplace concerns
- Administering leave programs, FMLA, ADA accommodations, PWFA requests, and benefits-related processes
- Maintaining HRIS records, personnel files, compliance records, and employment documentation
- Supporting training, orientation, employee engagement initiatives, and professional development activities
- Assisting with audits, credential tracking, compliance reviews, and regulatory requirements
- Generating reports, analyzing HR metrics, and supporting department and organizational initiatives

What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred)
- Minimum three (3) years of Human Resources experience in a Generalist or HR support role
- Strong working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, FLSA, PWFA, employment law, and HR best practices
- Experience supporting employee relations, compliance, onboarding, and HR operations
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, guide, and support employees and leaders
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications
- High degree of integrity, discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or human services environments preferred
- Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred

This position primarily operates in a professional office environment with some hybrid flexibility based on business needs.

- Frequent interaction with employees, leaders, candidates, and external partners
- Regular use of HRIS systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications
- Frequent communication in person, by phone, video conference, and electronic correspondence
- Occasional attendance at events, onboarding activities, trainings, and company functions
- Ability to lift and transport materials related to hiring, onboarding, training, and employee events up to approximately 35 pounds
