A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a HR Generalist on the People Relations team at MKS, you will support our direct labor and partner with leadership at our Lawrence, MA manufacturing site. In this role, you will report to the Human Resources Manager.

You Will Make an Impact By:
• Partnering with leaders and supervisors to align HR initiatives with business objectives, while providing day-to-day HR guidance and support to managers and employees
• Managing employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, performance concerns, and the implementation of Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)
• Supporting the employee lifecycle; conducting exit interviews, employee discussions, and feedback sessions. Coordinating onboarding and delivering new hire orientation to support a positive employee experience and smooth transition into the organization
• Assisting employees with leave of absence, Workers’ Compensation, and benefits-related inquiries
• Collaborating with HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs), Communications, and cross-functional HR teams to align people programs, drive employee engagement initiatives, and ensure consistent delivery of HR strategies and messaging
• Interfacing with leaders and Talent Acquisition to support hiring needs.
• Travel Requirements: 10% to assist with coverage with other MA sites when needed

Skills You Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2 Years of related experience
• Solid understanding of employee relations, performance management, compensation, and employment laws
• Ability to work across multiple locations and collaborate with different teams

Preferred Skills:
• Workday or similar HRIS proficiency
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Applications; Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams


Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Flexibility to support different shifts (may include weekly hours to be available during 3rd shift)
On-site office and plant environment
• Frequent use of computers and office productivity tools

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Pay Range: $ 71,025.00 - 118,375.00 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
