HR Generalist (Payroll / Excel & PowerPoint / Banking Industry / $5K) [ID 709154]
Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processes, including data compilation, validation, submission, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
- Manage employee administration tasks, including contracts, onboarding, offboarding, and data updates.
- Support the recruitment processes via CV screening, interview coordination, and documentation management.
- Identify improvement opportunities within HR processes, focusing on efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain HR tracking systems using Excel, including automation and data validation features.
- Prepare regular HR reports covering headcount and payroll summaries.
- Ensure adherence to local labour regulations and internal policies while maintaining confidentiality of employee data.
- Collaborate effectively with the HR Lead and act as a backup for various HR functions as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree is required.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience, particularly within HR operations or payroll roles.
- Preferred experience in the banking or financial services sector.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, covering formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and data reconciliation capabilities.
- Familiarity with payroll systems is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy under time constraints.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small team environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated integrity with the ability to handle sensitive information competently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
