HR Generalist

We're looking for an HR professional who can operate confidently across both consulting and operations. Someone who enjoys solving client problems, managing day-to-day HR processes, and building compliant, people-focused systems for growing businesses. This role blends hands-on HR execution with the mindset of a consultant, supporting multiple clients while ensuring a smooth HR operation internally.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

HR Operations & Administration

  • Deliver day-to-day HR operations including employee lifecycle processes: joining, probation, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits.
  • Manage HR documentation, personnel files, and internal record-keeping.
  • Draft and issue employment contracts, addendums, and HR letters as per UAE regulations.
  • Support visa processing, medicals, Emirates ID, and related government processes where needed.
  • Prepares accurate payroll inputs, leave reports, and overtime summaries in line with agreed timelines.
  • Maintains accurate HR Management System or tracker data across all client accounts.
  • Handle junior-level employee relations issues at junior level and escalate where required.

Compliance & UAE Labour Law

  • Applies sound knowledge of UAE Labour Law (MoHRE and free zones) when responding to client queries or processing HR actions.
  • Supports compliance checks, HR audits, and reviews of contracts, visas, and employee files.
  • Tracks regulatory updates and communicates relevant changes to internal teams and clients.
  • Ensures all HR operations meet statutory requirements, deadlines, and documentation standards.

Client Relationship Management

  • Maintains consistent communication with client stakeholders, providing timely updates and clear guidance.
  • Ensures all commitments are delivered as per agreed timelines and service levels.
  • Addresses client concerns proactively and escalates when necessary.

Confidentiality & Internal Controls

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of Client information and employee data at all times.
  • Ensure employee files, records, and systems are protected from unauthorised access.
  • Follow internal controls, checklists, and approval processes to ensure consistency and minimise risk.

HR Consulting Support

  • Support senior consultants in delivering HR projects for clients across different sectors.
  • Assist in drafting HR documents including policies, procedures, employee handbooks, onboarding guides, HR letters, and templates.
  • Collaborate with clients to implement HR foundations such as onboarding workflows, performance tools, and employee experience initiatives.
  • Prepare client reports, trackers, and presentations.
  • Act as a point of contact for designated clients, handling routine HR queries.
  • Work effectively with clients and internal teams across different cultures and nationalities.

Skills & Knowledge required

  • Excellence Ensures accurate and timely execution of HR tasks across multiple clients.
  • Working knowledge of labour laws, WPS requirements, end-of-service benefits, and pension schemes in the UAE. (GCC knowledge is advantageous)
  • Contributes to assessments, recommendations, and the creation of HR frameworks and tools.
  • Ensures client HR operations remain compliant with UAE Labour Law and internal policies.
  • Maintains accurate, audit-ready records and prepares monthly HR reports for each client.

  • Comfortable working across different clients, structures, systems, and timelines.
  • Explains information especially with statutory matters clearly to clients, employees, and internal teams.
  • Takes ownership of tasks, follows up on missing inputs, and identifies risks before issues arise.


Qualification & Experience required

  • Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • HR certifications (CIPD, SHRM, CHRP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant HR Generalist or HR Officer experience, preferably in the UAE and/other GCC countries.
  • Experience working with UAE Labour Law across mainland and free zones.
  • 1–2 years experience in a consulting or client-facing HR role is an advantage.
  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders or working in an outsourced/consulting environment is an advantage.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and reporting tools.

Salary budget: AED 10,000 to 12,000 (depending on experience)
