Role Overview


The HR Generalist supports day-to-day human resources operations across multiple manufacturing facilities, serving as a trusted resource for employees and leaders. This role supports employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, training, workforce engagement, and HR administration. The position partners with business and plant leadership to address workforce needs, strengthen employee experience, and support consistent HR practices. The role also contributes to HR projects, process improvements, retention initiatives, and effective workforce operations.


Key Responsibilities


  • Support employee relations and workforce engagement by coaching leaders on employee communication, conflict resolution, performance management, corrective actions, recognition, and retention initiatives.
  • Coordinate recruiting and onboarding for hourly and salaried positions, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, offers, pre-employment activities, orientation, and new hire integration.
  • Administer core HR processes by maintaining accurate employee records and HRIS transactions and supporting timekeeping, attendance, payroll-related activities, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans.
  • Identify and coordinate training and development needs for employees and leaders while partnering with plant teams to support safety training, incident-related activities, workers’ compensation documentation, and return-to-work programs.
  • Drive HR programs and process improvements by supporting employee surveys, HR projects, workforce initiatives, and practices that strengthen organizational effectiveness across multiple manufacturing facilities.

Required Qualifications


  • Strong employee relations, communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution capabilities.
  • Ability to coordinate recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and employee development activities.
  • Ability to maintain accurate employee records and work effectively with HR information systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple HR processes and priorities across multiple manufacturing facilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with employees, managers, and cross-functional teams.
