About Creso

Creso is a B2B fintech platform for Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs) in India. We bundle the operational stack an MFD needs - transactions, portfolio reporting, client communication, compliance - into a single modern interface. Distributors use Creso instead of stitching together paper, spreadsheets, and half a dozen legacy portals.

The role

You will be Creso's first HR hire. This is a recruiter-first role: your year-one brief is to hire our sales team, the Relationship Managers and BD folks who sign up MFDs across India.

You know where these people sit. They work at NJ Wealth, Prudent Corporate, Anand Rathi, Motilal Oswal, and firms like them. You've hired them before, or worked alongside the teams that did.

Once the sales engine is staffed, the role widens. You build Creso's HR function from scratch: onboarding, policies, payroll coordination, engagement, performance. You define what HR looks like here.

What you'll do

Year one (recruiting-heavy)

- Own the full hiring funnel for sales roles: sourcing, screening, scheduling, offers, closing

- Build talent pipelines inside MFD, wealth management, and BFSI firms

- Work directly with the founder on hiring plans, comp benchmarks, and offer strategy

- Set up the basics: ATS or tracker, interview loops, referral program

As we grow (generalist HR)

- Design onboarding that gets new RMs productive fast

- Put core policies and processes in place, right-sized for a startup

- Own engagement, retention, and performance rhythms

- Stay the single point of contact for everything people-related

Who we're looking for

- Around 4-5 years in talent acquisition or HR, with real recruiting depth

- Background at an MFD, wealth management, or BFSI firm (NJ Wealth, Prudent Corporate, or similar is a strong plus)

- You've hired sales profiles before and can judge an RM candidate in one call

- Comfortable being a team of one, with a direct line to the founder

- Based in Mumbai or willing to relocate (we support relocation)
