HR Manager
About this role:
The HR Manager is a strategic business partner to the operations teams at a Carrier manufacturing facility, executing talent, employee-relations and development processes that create a high-performance, engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Acts as HR Business Partner to assigned areas of the site.
Manages talent attraction, onboarding, and retention processes.
Supports employee relations, engagement, and disciplinary matters.
Implements development, training, and performance-management programs.
Ensure compliance with company policies and US employment law (FLSA, NLRA, EEO, ADA, FMLA).
Analyzes HR metrics (attrition, headcount, hiring effectiveness) and drives action plans.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of HR experience, preferably as an HRBP in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related field.
Solid knowledge of US employment law (FLSA, NLRA, EEO, ADA, FMLA) and positive employee-relations practices.
Experience supporting talent acquisition, onboarding, retention and performance management.
Ability to coach leaders and manage employee-relations and disciplinary matters.
Proficiency analyzing HR metrics (attrition, headcount, hiring effectiveness) to drive action.
SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in Labor Relations
Experience in high-growth or fast-paced manufacturing environments.
HR analytics skills (Power BI, Workday).
SHRM-CP/PHR certification and strong business-partner orientation.
